FAQ

Q:  How fast can a powered paraglider fly?

A: A powered paraglider can fly anywhere from a mininimum air speed of 12 mph all the way up to 50+mph depending on wing loading.  These aircraft have a huge speed envelope rivaled by that of swept wing military fighters.

Q:  How far can a powered paraglider fly?

A: An average pilot should have no problem flying 50-100 miles depending on the fuel they carry (5 gallon USA legal limit) .   Our lead test pilot has gone over 200 miles on 4 gallons of fuel.

Q:  How reliable are the 2 stroke engines?

A: These modern day high performance 2 stroke engines are extremely reliable compared to the dinosaur 2 strokes of the past.  With standard preflight and maintence, many of these engines are going well over 500 hours without problems!

Q:  Which paraglider is right for me?  There are so many to choose from!

A: Give us a call @ 1-800-707-2525.  We have experts on staff that can help you choose the right glider regardless of your skill level.   Picking the right glider is VERY important.

Q:  I’m 70 years old, can I learn to fly?

A: We’ve seen 70+ year olds foot launching, if you cant carry the weight on you back though – no problem.  Paramotors can fly with trike attachments taking all the weight off.  There really is no age limit.  If your mentally good to go -no problem!
